The Cancer Society’s Living Well programme offers practical ways of living well through your cancer journey.
This free programme is available for anyone with any type and stage of cancer, as well as their whānau and carers.
The Living Well programme presents educational material in a supportive environment. It is not intended as a support group, although mutual support does happen naturally and we do address many patient/caregiver concerns.
Participants of the programme often report feeling less anxious and better informed after attending, having gained information and support by identifying concerns and knowing who to contact.
The invitation extends to patients and their significant supporter such as spouse, partner, family or a friend. A light lunch is provided.
