Each year, the fundraising efforts of businesses throughout our region help give hope to thousands of New Zealanders affected by cancer. Here are some of the ways your organisation can get involved this Daffodil Day:
We’re looking for volunteers to help with our street appeal on Friday 28 August and Saturday 29 August. We can roster you together in shifts (normally two hours) or give your organisation a site to manage for the day. Email us for more information if you're interesting in lending a hand.
2. Hold a fundraiser
Raise money in a way that suits your business! The opportunities are endless – get inspired with our A-Z of fundraising ideas or contact us with a concept of your own. Your Daffodil Day fundraiser can be held any time during the month of August, and we can supply resources to help, including these useful downloadable tools.
3. Make a donation
Every dollar raised this Daffodil Day will help the Cancer Society to provide supportive care services for people living with cancer, to fund vital cancer research and to deliver health promotion and education programmes in our community.
