Business to business partnerships

It is due to the generosity of individuals and organisations that the Cancer Society can provide a wide range of services free of charge. We are proud to have relationships with large and small businesses engaging in:

  • promoting better health
  • meaningful relationships with their staff

Working with the Cancer Society can provide tax-deductible benefits while demonstrating to  customers, clients and suppliers you are committed to the work of the Cancer Society. A company’s association with a cause is increasingly influencing a consumer’s purchasing decisions.

Local business sponsorship

If you're a business or corporation you may be in a position to sponsor our activities in one or more of the following ways:

  • discounts on goods
  • donating staff time
  • monetary donations
  • free products/giveaways
  • joint promotional activities.

Please contact us to talk about how your business can help us to support people affected by cancer in our community.A number of businesses show their support by providing cash sponsorship and/or donating goods and services. However much and however modest, it's help like this which ensures hundreds of New Zealanders living with cancer get vital support.

National sponsorship

The Cancer Society has a highly-regarded and iconic brand as New Zealand’s favourite charity.

We invite companies and organisations to partner with the Cancer Society to develop programmes that will meet their marketing and staff engagement objectives. Just as no two businesses are the same there is no one size fits all approach to sponsorship and we prefer to meet to discuss individual needs.

For a confidential discussion please contact the Cancer Society's national office.

If your staff and their families are living with cancer

We have extensive free information and resources available to help with cancer in the workplace.

Our resources provide information for:

  • people with cancer attending or returning to work
  • carers seeking advice
  • survivors and their colleagues.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving (also known as Workplace Giving) builds staff morale and motivation while developing brand awareness and providing inspiration and support to the community. It provides real time tax relief for employees without the need for receipts.
