When Jeffrey Coffin was diagnosed in October 2016 with renal cancer, he was given just three days to live unless he was operated on.
The news shocked Jeffrey who says he knew ‘nothing’ about cancer until he was forced to learn following his diagnosis. The Cancer Society’s Lions Lodge was a big help for the Pio Pio man as it allowed him to stay in Hamilton for the duration of his treatment, rather than travel 100km daily to and from the hospital. However, his cancer journey has not been easy.
