Our division and offices
The aim of the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Cancer Society is to minimise the impact of cancer in our communities. Our office in Hamilton provides services across the whole of the Waikato and out to Thames/Coromandel, and the Tauranga and Rotorua branches of our division cover the Bay of Plenty, Rotorua and Taupo areas. As the first point of contact in these areas we provide information and run free support services, health promotion, and volunteer services out of these offices.
Our Waikato/Bay of Plenty divisional office is located at the corner of Grey and Beale Streets in Hamilton. You will be greeted at reception by our friendly office administrator. We also stock a small selection of the Cancer Society's sun protection products.
The Tauranga office is located at 111 Cameron Road. Jo Matthews will welcome you at reception and looks after the office's administrative needs, Jo McIntosh can help with volunteer services, Tammy Burgess is our cancer liaison nurse and Mel Desmarais is our health promotion manager.
The Rotorua office is located at 1235 Ranolf Street. Tracey Crompton will welcome you at reception and looks after the day to day administration and office needs, and Andrea Youngs is our liaison nurses for the area.
At the Cancer Society's Lions Lodge you will be greeted by Lodge administrator Henny Swinkels. The Lodge is situated at 32 Tainui Street (and corner of Lake Road). For more information on the Lodge, please click here.
